USES
- Electroplating: Copper cyanide is used in electroplating copper on iron, as well as other base materials like aluminum, zinc, and nickel alloys.
- Catalyst: Copper cyanide is used as a catalyst in polymerizations.
- Reagent: Copper cyanide is used as a reagent in the preparation of nitriles.
- Insecticide, fungicide, and biocide: Copper cyanide can be used as an insecticide, fungicide, and biocide in marine paints.
