Directions for use
RXSOL Electrosol must only be used in sufficient ventilated areas. RXSOL Electrosol should always be used undiluted. It can be applied by brush, swab or as a fine spray using suitable hand held spray equipment.
 
NOTE: Never open flame when using fine spray.
 
Small components be cleaned y brief immersion in a bath of RXSOL Electrosol. The most suitable way of applying RXSOL Electrosol is by using hand spray or syphon spray gun. Once the deposits of dirt and grease have been flushed away with RXSOL Electrosol the remaining solvent may be evaporated by using clean compressed air at low pressure and high volume.

The tablet is dosed to the water supply tank preferably suspended away from the fabric of the tank. The tablets should not be allowed to rest on the bottom of metal tanks. Being in tablet form this is a safer method of administering chlorine than the usual liquid preparations. When used as part of a planned programme of protection it will assist in control of problems associated with such areas as bacterial and organic foulingincluding legionnaires disease.

Dose Rate:

Rates will be determined by the extent of current problems. An initial dose will be required to give a free residual chlorine reserve of 5-50ppm for a minimum of 1 hour. Thereafter a reserve of 0.5-2.0ppm is normally sufficient. Also available as rapid dissolving (Bechlor 126RD) 1 tablet will give 50ppm chlorine in 3.6m3 water.

Mechanism: It converts calcium hardness into soft, non-adherent sludge that is easily removed by blowdown.

The presence of alkalinity in a water sample may be due to many different substances.  However, for the sake of simplicity, the presence of bicarbonate, carbonate, and hydroxide ions is commonly considered as alkalinity.  The points of change in colour of phenolphthalein and methyl orange indicators, which occur at pH 8.3 and pH 4.3 provide standard reference points which are almost universally used to express alkalinity.

Very high alkalinity values can be undesirable in an industrial water supply.  For example, the presence of a high methyl orange alkalinity should be avoided in boiler feed water because of the resultant carbon dioxide content of the steam.  Carbon dioxide usually is responsible for the corrosion of steam and return lines.  High boiler water alkalinities are also undesirable because the presence of high hydroxide ion concentration is the primary cause of caustic metal embrittlement. A very high boiler alkalinity can also lead to an undesirable carryover condition.  On the other hand, the alkalinity of boiler water must be sufficiently high to protect the boiler metal against acidic corrosion and to ensure precipitation of scale-forming salts.  Usual treatment approaches include setting both a minimum alkalinity level and an operating range.
 

Hydroxide alkalinity may be determined by adding barium chloride prior to titration to precipitate the carbonate ion from solution, allowing direct titration of the hydroxide alkalinity.  Measurement of hydroxide alkalinity is also used to control lime soda softeners.
 

In cooling water systems, alkalinity is of major importance since the total alkalinity of a water is one factor that must be considered when predicting the tendency for the water to precipitate calcium carbonate scale.  Depending on the choice of chemical treatments to protect against corrosion and scale formation, the operating alkalinity and pH ranges are chosen to balance these two features.

Alkalinity Titrimetric Method (0-200 ppm) 

Principle Theory

This test is based on the determination of alkalinity by titration with standard acid to the phenolphthalein colour change (or to a pH of 8.3) and to the methyl orange colour change (or a pH of 4.3).  For determination of hydroxide alkalinity only, barium chloride is added prior to titration to precipitate the carbonate ions.  Titration is then taken only to the phenolphthalein endpoint.  A pH meter may be used instead of the indicators to determine the endpoints of the titration.

In general terms and thumb rule for Metalic Brightner HD is MORE RUST required more Metalic Brightner HD. Chemically Rust { iron oxide (FeO) } is soluble in pH values below 4.0, . Thus, the oxide (oxygen) dissolves as it is formed instead of depositing on the metal's surface. So it is clear more rust required more Metalic Brightner HD to get dissolve. In practical if the area is fully rusted corroded then direct Metalic Brightner HD can be used to dissolve rust particles, while in light contaminated part Metalic Brightner HD can be diluted in between 20 to 70% . 
 
2nd factor is the time which is directly affecting the cleaning result. If base metal is aluminium then use Metalic Brightner HD concentration 10 to 30% for not more then 5 Minutes. For removal of rust stains on painted or iron surfaces, use 10–30%  of Metalic Brightner HD soultion for 15–20 minutes. And for heavily rusted and corroded or soiled surfaces and tarnish on copper and brass, use a solution of 20–50%, for 15–40 minutes.
 
The 3rd important point always be noted, After cleaning of rust from Metalic Brightner HD all area should be fully rinsed and clean properly with fresh water. And for best long time result to keep rust free surface, Surface can be chemically neutralized with RXSOL-41-8896-025 ( dilution ration 1 Ltr RXSOL-41-8896-025 with 10 Ltr water ). The scientific reason behind that is  As With the Rust oxide gone with Metalic Brightner HD, the metal surface is in direct contact with the acidic solution, and the corrosion reaction proceeds at a greater rate than it does at higher pH values. For increasing pH values greater than pH 10, the rusting rate seems to fall as pH is increased with help of RXSOL-41-8896-025.

ACC9 AIR COOLER CHEMICAL Cleaner is watersoluble product and classified as best AIR Cooler Cleaning Chemical for shipping and marine industries. We are working with this product since 1995 and on our daily routine cleaning operation given us opprtunity to select non corrosive solvent to formulate ACC9 along with powerful new genration emulsifier, detergent and inhibitors. When ACC9 Air Cooler Chemicals Cleaner is spread on greasy soiled parts, Air Cooler Chemical ACC9 chemically penetrate inside the soiled area and finally resulting with emulsifying action with water. This cleaning concept help to removes all soiled greasy part without mechanical rubbing and friction action. As manual scrapping and rubbing cleaning action directly damaging the surface area of metal parts. This is the reason why engineer always have suggestion to avoid mechanical rubbing cleaning procedure.

Application

Immersion bath
Atleast for 2 Hrs deep COOLER PARTS in to  AIR COOLER CHEMICAL CLEANER emulsion tank. The product should be heated to approx. 50°C and agitation provided with an air line. Then drain off and flush well with water, followed by drying with an air line.

Soak method: Machine parts with stubborn carbon deposits to be cleaned is dipped into conc.Soln.of ACC then allow deposits to. Be broken down and loosened before removal, then rinse .


Circulation method
Some designs of cooler can be circulated "in situ". In this case a pump tank and pipe system is fitted permanently or connections are provided for connecting a temporary circuit. The system should be filled with AIR COOLER CHEMICAL CLEANER circulation carried out for 2 - 4 hours at a temperature of upto 50°C. After cleaning the cooler should be thoroughly flushed with fresh water and dried with an air line.

Note: Both cleaning methods benefit from heat of up to 50°C and cleaning times can be reduced or extended dependant on temperature and degree of fouling.
 

Hand spray Cleaning: By Hand spray,apply concentrate RXSOL-16-0009-210 all over the cooler coils. for good emulsification & penetration. Allow the RXSOL-16-0009-210 for a minimum of 1 hour,then use a high pressuure  water to  wash  off  the  loosened deposits. During process  always  keep drain valve  open. After satisfactory cleaning, and flushing through with fresh water, close air cooler drains.Note that during this process the engine must be  stopped.
