TRO Calibration Kit
CLX REAGENT, TOTAL CHLORINE REAGENT KIT FOR DPD TRO SENSOR
TRO Calibration Solution kit is a calibration solution compatible and to be use with HF Scientific TRO Analyser. Compatible HF TRO Analyser include CLX-EX, CLX-EX2, CLX-XT, CLX-XT2 TRO Calibration Solution Kit is an essential calibration package for the operation of chlorination/oxidation type of ballast water management system. TRO sensor which is calibrated, ensure the right amount of chlorine/oxidant is injected for disinfection of ballast water and excess chlorine/oxidant is neutralised for compliance.
- Designed to be used with HF scientific TRO analyser model CLX-EX, CLX-EX2, CLX-XT, CLX-XT2
- Inclusive: 1 x 500 ml Buffer Reagent, 4x 125 ml Indicator, 4 x 13g DPD powder
- Long shelf life reagent, 5 years
Areas of Application of TRO Calibration Kit
- Cooling water systems
- Ballast water treatment systems
- Desalination plants
- Industrial wastewater treatment
- Drinking water and utility monitoring
- Marine and offshore water systems
Technical Highlights
- Measurement Range: Instrument-dependent
- Method Type: Colorimetric (DPD)
- Compatibility: TRO analyzers, portable chlorine meters, and laboratory photometers
- Reagent Form: Liquid (Buffer & Indicator), Powder (DPD Sachets)
Principle Method of RXSOL TRO Kit
The kit uses the internationally recognized N,N-Diethyl-p-phenylenediamine colorimetric method.
When DPD powder is added to a water sample containing total chlorine or oxidants, a pink/red coloration develops. The intensity of the color is proportional to the oxidant concentration and is measured visually or using a photometer to determine TRO/total chlorine levels.
Physical Properties:
| Appearance | Light yellow |
| Density | 1.1 |
| Form | Liquid |
| pH | 13-14 |
The TRO Calibration Kit is designed for accurate calibration and performance verification of Total Residual Oxidant (TRO) and Total Chlorine analyzers, test systems, and field instruments used in water treatment, cooling water, ballast water, and industrial process monitoring.
This kit provides all essential reagents required to prepare and measure stable, reproducible total chlorine reference samples, ensuring reliable instrument response, regulatory compliance, and consistent process control.
