Application:
Protection of alcohols as Boc derivatives via Lewis acid catalysis. Reagent for the introduction of the Boc protecting group. Tris-Boc protected hydrazine allows preparation of Fmoc ester in a chromophoric reagent to monitor solid-phase aldehydes.
